这位师太不太冷～英国学生签证福利！

　　前天才说梅姨可能会在学生签证上动刀，但没想到变化不一定就是坏事。在英国当地时间7月25日出台了新的政策：学生可获得半年工作签证（Tier 4 Pilot：第四级学生签证试行计划）。

　　首先，我们来看看这个政策有什么：

　　Annex 6 Tier 4 Pilot 原文

　　I. If you are applying to study a Masters course for 13 months or less (excluding the duration of any pre-sessional course) at the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, University of Bath or Imperial College London, you are eligible to participate in the Tier 4 pilot. This includes if you are applying from both outside and inside the UK.

　　II. Participating in the pilot allows you to: - stay longer after the end of the course - the total length of stay you are allowed is the full length of the course plus six months after the end of the course; - submit fewer evidential documents with your application – you will not be required to submit certificates or documents showing your previous qualifications or tran of results and documents showing you meet the maintenance requirements

　　III. In all cases you must confirm on your application form that you meet the requirements and that you hold documentary evidence in the manner required. We may request these from you even where you qualify for the pilot. The Immigration Rules still apply to you, therefore you must ensure you follow the rest of the guidance carefully. This includes submitting an ATAS certificate and TB screening certificate where appropriate.

　　IV. If you do choose to submit documentary evidence, despite being eligible for the pilot, we will consider that information as part of the overall assessment.

　　V. If you are bringing dependants with you and they apply at the same time as you, they will also not be required to submit documents showing they meet the maintenance requirements. If they don’t apply at the same time they will need to submit supporting documentation with their application.

　　VI. If you have any concerns, speak to your University visa office in the first instance.

　　简单来说：这条款只针对剑桥大学、牛津大学、巴斯大学、帝国理工4所学校的学生。此外，所读课程要求不超过13个月（不含语言课程），毕业后留英时间从原来的4个月延长至6个月。另外简化了签证申请材料和流程，不再要求必须提供资金或学历证明。

　　现在应该是以这4所名校为试点，目的是为了吸引优秀的学生来。所以那些问为什么没有LSE、UCL的同学们，这里就先不讨论了。依我们对英国人作风（尤其是政客），这种政策欲盖弥彰，他们想传达出的信息是政府在向留学生示好，欢迎更多优秀的学生来英国，也欢迎他们毕业后能服务于英国。（羡慕吧，不要说英国没有工作签证了，没拿到可能是你还不够优秀哦~~）

　　需要注意的几点：

　　1. 目前的研究生签证颁发规律是，签证长度一般都在课程结束后的4个月；

　　2. 长度增加到6个月，原则上说，只是增加了2个月的长度；

　　3. 针对几所学校开辟了加速通道，并不意味着有特殊的签证要求，基本要求还是一样，只不过是相对信任度高了一些。（移民局还是随时有权利要求你提供相关文件）

　　上述政策可以适用的人群还是有限，但无论这个工作签证是否能拿到，又或者后面会否有更好的政策出现，英国教育的含金量、性价比都是位于首选前列的。同学们还是先别做白日梦，老老实实地做英国留学申请吧~~~2017年的英国申请大幕已经拉开喽~~~
